LES MILLS Functional Strength™ is an exciting program that brings fresh energy to sports-inspired conditioning workouts. Designed to improve strength, fitness, and muscle tone, this class has innovative takes on fundamental movements. While some prior exercise experience is recommended, the class is open to all training levels, offering something valuable for everyone.
LES MILLS Functional Strength stands out by focusing on movements that mimic real-life activities, helping you develop strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility. Unlike static strength routines, this program keeps workouts dynamic and engaging, helping you not only build muscle but also enhance your athletic abilities.
What sets this program apart is its progressive structure—the intensity increases over time, meaning you are always challenged and motivated to push your limits. As Samantha D., one of our dedicated instructors, explains, “Many participants come into the class thinking that they aren’t capable of doing certain exercises or lifting ‘X’ amount of weight. So, we start off with lighter weights and lots of demonstration and practice, and slowly but surely, they prove themselves wrong.”
“I enjoy the sense of community we have in the class,” says participant Olivia O. “The instructors are amazing at pushing us to do our best and to try new exercises that focus on functional strength. I always feel proud of what I can accomplish.”
